Maya Rendulic, Research Assistant

Research, Data, and Technical Support

Maya is a graduate from the California State University of Fresno with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Physiology and Anatomy and is currently completing her Masters in Public Heath with an emphasis in Epidemiology from the University of New Mexico. For the past several years she has been working with San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services and Public Health as a supervisor for a peer-to-peer drug education prevention program and has been working on numerous projects with Public Health including the Studying Youth in Northern California (SYNC) Project and initiating a legislative proposal for Tobacco-Free Pharmacies in the SJC Valley. She is also currently assisting in the completion and revision of the New Mexico State Cancer Plan through the Department of Health. Her interest in public health stems from her prior work and desires to work in the healthcare field using a multifaceted approach. She seeks to expand her current knowledge of the healthcare system through practical and researched based experiences and recognizing epidemiological trends.
